Highlighting the theme “Building Innovative Solutions for a Digital World: Empowering the Future”, 11th Brainwave Competition was held last April 27, 2023 at the University of Baguio.
Brainwave Competition is an annual event of the School of Information Technology which aims to provide an avenue for the SIT students to showcase their skills and knowledge in the fields of Information Technology through a fun and friendly competition.
SIT students joined in various competitions specifically Computer Programming Level I and Level II, IT Quiz Bee, Magazine Cover Design, Computer Network Troubleshooting, and E-sports.
The champions of each event are Vian Paolo Palacio and Warren Cyrus Llave for Computer Programming 1 while Christian Rojo and Roxanne Worwor won for Computer Programming II. Mark Anthon Argel, Mclin Molina, and Jasper Asmin won the IT Quiz Bee Competition and Computer Network Troubleshooting. Kyle Ivy Dumo won for Magazine Cover Design. Averie Gaspar, Joseph Scarcella, Orlando Paguirigan, Mel Jones Longalong, Dee Jay Pacio, and Joseph Adrian Dizon won for E-sports. Winners of the Brainwave Competition received a certificate and cash prize.
The competitions showcased the excellence of SIT students and promoted sportsmanship and camaraderie among the competitors.
The event was organized by the School of Information Technology Student Body with the help of SIT student volunteers.
